Fascinating cutouts as an idea for a new image

The range of materials that can be used for an explicit material picture is very rich and versatile. In the great abundance of possibilities, I choose in each case those basic materials that serve me because of their floury fineness or their color texture for the desired effect in my picture. In this way, I can already decide on the desired surface in my painting when selecting the material.

With my technique of multiple layers and densification of a wide variety of glazes, opaque applications of paint and a wide variety of putties, I thus often create fragile areas of material or targeted lines of color and grandiose forms that decisively influence the desired goal in my compositions.
