Art alone is inexhaustible

Beyond euphemistic, (teasing) veiling

In many of my figure paintings on paper or cardboard, it is also a very imaginative and playful disguise of quite representationally based longings and desires, which do not have to be real in every case and necessarily. They can also be merely fantasized. On the light backgrounds, playful abstract figures are created with diluted paint, splashes, lines with oil pastels, ink effects, with graphite pencils, scratch marks with brush ends or palette knife, small collages and other effects. In this multi-layered variety of forms, soft color nuances and ‘eye-catchers’ emerge. Even if they do not tell long-winded stories, they send in the image statement any amount of signals for many exciting events and raptures.
