Exhibition ‘Spatial Worlds – Figurative Abstractions’
at the Gallery Geissbühler, CH-Zofingen
The double exhibition at Galerie Pitsch Geissbühler in Zofingen – together with life partner Rebekka Hatzung – began with the vernissage on Saturday, November 18, 2017 (from 5 p.m.) and lasted until Saturday, January 20, 2018 (from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.). Sunday aperitifs were held in between, where both artists were present in person.
The works shown in the exhibition bear witness to the current work of both artists. Rebekka Hatzung likes to experiment with a wide variety of materials, which accompany a lingering and immersion in her own world of thought.
Robert Süess is showing new figurative works for the first time. In diverse compositions, he captures the bodies in their abstract beauty and at the same time reminds us of the decay and transience of even the most beautiful body.
